Since our story began in South Florida, the love, encouragement and laughter of family and friends have helped shape the life we built together.
Returning to where it all began—and sharing this milestone with you—is deeply meaningful. Thank you for walking beside us and filling these twenty years with memories we will always treasure.
20 Years of Us
We began in 2005 and have spent the last twenty years growing, changing and building a life together—one move, one lesson and one adventure at a time.
We began in 2005 with very different life experiences but a shared foundation. Guerry was a New Yorker with strong Haitian roots whose journey included fatherhood and service in the United States Marine Corps. TK was a native Floridian shaped by her Jamerican culture, Southern influence and academic foundation.
We met as colleagues on a start-up healthcare project. Within six months, TK proposed with a watch. Guerry answered with a ring, and six months later we married in Pembroke Pines. Two proposals, one wholehearted yes.
Over the next twenty years, we built careers, earned our MBAs and followed new opportunities. We made homes in Tamarac, Miramar and Northern Virginia before settling in Maryland. We traveled, chased waterfalls, explored cultures through food, discovered vineyards and wine, and learned to master boating—eventually becoming captains and finding freedom together at the helm. Throughout it all, we remained committed to serving our communities and mentoring others.
Through every move, milestone, challenge and celebration, our family and friends supported us—and we kept showing up for one another. The places changed, and so did we, but our partnership grew stronger with every season.
Twenty years later, we are still evolving, still choosing each other and still excited for what comes next.
The weekend program
To celebrate our 20th anniversary, we have designed a weekend of distinct adventures, offering several ways to create memories and share loving moments. RSVPs for Friday’s catered vow renewal and day party are now closed, and additional responses are no longer being accepted. Additional weekend adventures are optional, with guests covering their own participation. We warmly invite you to choose the moments that feel right for you, and we’ll be delighted to have you with us wherever you join.

Participation details will be sent to confirmed guests. If the karaoke experience is canceled, lunch will remain on schedule.
